2025 Fall Ball

Westchester Little League's 2025 Fall Ball programming should offer an option for everyone — from the player who just wants to brush up on their skills to the player who wants to face the stiffest competition possible and take their game to whole nother level.

The fall season starts on Tuesday, September 2nd and will extend until at least the week before Thanksgiving for all levels. (Some of the Westchester Pilots Pony teams, however, may begin in mid- to late August.)

Each of the options is listed below. Please email WLL President Josh Schollmeyer directly ([email protected]) if you have any questions. All spots are first come, first serve, though, so the sooner you sign up, the better. Registration will close at the end of August.

WEEKLY SKILLS CLINIC
$150 for 12 Weeks
20 Tuesday Spots (First Come, First Serve)
20 Thursday Spots (First Come, First Serve)
20 Saturday Spots (First Come, First Serve)

The perfect option for the kid who will primarily spend their fall playing soccer, football and/or basketball but wants to keep their toe in the baseball waters before the spring season starts. The exact same format as our January clinics with a professional instructor working players through a battery of fielding and throwing drills.

Once per week either on Tuesday (5-6 p.m. or 6-7 p.m.); Thursday (5-6 p.m. or 6-7 p.m.); or Saturday (9-10 a.m. or 10-11 a.m.). Ten players per clinic. We will do our best to accommodate — i.e., move days and times — once soccer, baseball and football schedules become clearer.

A wait list will be available once all spots are filled, and if demand is high enough, we will add more options.

Clinics would start on Tuesday, September 2nd and conclude on Saturday, November 22nd. They are available to Minors (league age 9-10) and Majors (league age 11-12) only.

CLASSIC FALL BALL UPPER DIVISIONS
$175 for 10-12 Games
2026 Spring League Age 9-13

One team fielding practice, one batting practice and one game per week from mid-September until roughly Thanksgiving (or shortly beforehand). Games would be a mix of opponents — from other WLL and District 37 teams to other nearby Little Leagues (for example, Manhattan Beach and Ladera). Games will be located at Westchester Park or at opponent’s facilities within a 20-minute drive of Westchester and will likely take place on either Saturday or Sunday. Players will get an opportunity to play a number of positions as well as try out specialty positions like pitching and catching.

CLASSIC FALL BALL YOUNGER/COACH-PITCH DIVISIONS
2026 Spring League Age 5-8
$50 for 12 Weeks

The best deal in town, priced to make baseball more accessible on the Westside than ever before. This year’s program will be structured to hit the sweet spot of fun and development for each type of player — newcomer or returning player. Weekly practices and clinics with guest instructors and a Saturday game either against another WLL team or a nearby league. Teams and rules will mirror our Single A and AA divisions, with Single A being coach pitch and AA being a mix of coach and player pitch.

GRAND SLAM PACKAGE
SOUTH BAY PONY + CLASSIC FALL BALL
$375 for 20-25 games (10-15 Pony, 10 Classic Fall Ball)

As close to a Spring Season as you can get in terms of commitment and competition level. In addition to being eligible to play in Classic Fall Ball games, your player will compete as a member of our own Westchester Pilots versus other teams in South Bay Pony, and may have one additional practice per week.

Participating in both Classic Fall Ball and South Bay Pony will accelerate a player’s development at a variety of positions, give them far more at bats and allow them more chances to play with friends. For the upper divisions, it also helps prepare them for baseball beyond Little League, with slightly bigger field dimensions, the introduction of leadoffs, pickoffs and balks. Fee also includes a Westchester Pilots practice shirt, hat and personalized jersey. Note that even at this commitment level, we completely understand and expect that kids will miss the games, and build our rosters accordingly.

For logistical reasons, we need to cap enrollment in our Grand Slam Package at 12 registrants per level. If we have more interest than spots, teams will be formed via tryout, selected by the manager and coaches of the team.

8U Pinto (12 spots)
10U Mustang (12 spots)
11/12U Bronco Undergraduates (12 spots)
12U Bronco Graduates (12 spots for players who have aged out of Little League and will be playing Babe Ruth or the like next spring)

Note: For players who want to register for the 8U and 10U teams, please contact WLL President Josh Schollmeyer directly at [email protected], and he will provide the instructions on how to do so.
