Westchester LL Spring 2022 Season

WELCOME TO 2022 WLL SPRING REGISTRATION

Online Registration is open for the Spring 2022 baseball season.  

Westchester Little League offers four divisions of play:
  • Single A / Coach Pitch
  • Double A / Coach & Player Pitch
  • Minors / Player Pitch 
  • Majors / Player Pitch

Westchester Little League Spring Season activities generally run February through June (exact dates TBD), with games & practices taking place at Carl E. Nielsen Youth Park in Westchester. Boys & girls, whose birth date falls between 9/1/2009 and 8/31/2017 are eligible to play, regardless of skill level. Some players may be eligible to play up a division, based on experience level and performance at evaluations.

Player evaluations will take place in early to mid January, over two weekends. All players should attend evaluations in order to create fair and balanced teams. We are planning for practices to begin in February and games to begin in late February / early March.

REGISTRATION

Registration fee: $250

(Includes team jersey and team hat, as well as the league pictures base package.)

Regular registration ends on December 31. Late registration begins on January 1 and will increase to $275 per player.

There is also a $15 discount available for siblings, and a $20 discount available for players new to the league.

Registration deadline is Sunday, January 23. After this date, players will be placed on a waiting list and added to teams on a space-available basis.

UPDATED REFUND POLICY

No refunds will be given after rosters are finalized, unless the city of Los Angeles issues orders prohibiting the season moving forward (see Pandemic Related Refunds).

PANDEMIC RELATED REFUNDS
---------------------------------------------

If the city of Los Angeles fails to approve field usage before a date in which a full regular season consisting of games, practices and/or clinics can commence, or rescinds such approval after the season begins, the WLL Board will refund a portion of the associated registration fees back to families based on the percentage of games/practices/clinics which have taken place (minus a field usage & uniform fee). Rainouts to approved scheduled games that are not rescheduled by the respective team managers will not be considered in this refund.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

In order to help ensure the league has all the necessary documents prior to evaluations, the system will not allow you to continue with registration if you don’t have the proof of residence documents or school enrollment forms uploaded. Please contact league Registrar, Steve Lewis at carolynandsteve@gmail.com, if you have any questions about the registration process or would like to make special arrangements for payment. The following checklist is to help ensure all documents and steps are completed for registration.

  1. Proof of Residence, School Eligibility Form (check here to see if you live or go to school in boundaries) or out-of-boundary waiver – please upload directly into registration form
  2. Copy of player’s Birth Certificate – please upload directly into registration form
  3. Medical Release Form – click for English version and Spanish version – please email completed form to carolynandsteve@gmail.com
  4. Photo/Video Release Form  - please email completed form to carolynandsteve@gmail.com
  5. $100 deposit check (for snack stand and vounteer requirement) – will be due upon player team placement
